Ian Robotham

Experience:

Ian, who has recently been promoted to Associate, is a former Steeles Law trainee.  Ian qualified into the Dispute Resolution team and has developed a particular expertise in a variety of tax disputes (VAT, excise duty, customs duty and income tax) with HMRC.  He has experience of dealing wtih case in the First Tier Tribunal Tax Chamber (formerly the VAT and Duties Tribunal), the Magistrates’ Court, the High Court and Administrative Court.  Ian also has considerable experience in dealing with high value and complex contractual disputes and general contractual disputes for all types of clients, commercial and individual. Ian has acted on construction disputes and intellectual property claims ranging from ‘small claims’ to High Court ‘multi track’ claims and has been involved in several successful Judicial Review actions.
